Results announcement of the 7th edition of the "Youth Eyes on the Silk Roads" photo contest

On 19 September 2025, the winners of the 7th edition of the Youth Eyes on the Silk Roads international photo contest will be announced in Beijing during the 12th Peace Garden Peace Festival.

The festival is hosted by the China World Peace Foundation and the Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation, in collaboration with the Embassy of Turkmenistan in China and the Embassy of Austria in China. Ambassadors, diplomats, representatives of international organizations, scholars, and other guests are expected to attend, celebrating intercultural understanding and the promotion of peace.

Since its launch in 2014, the Peace Garden Peace Festival has been co-hosted annually by the China World Peace Foundation and the Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation.

Since 2022, the Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation has been an official partner of UNESCO, strengthening collaboration on peacebuilding and sustainable development initiatives, including the “Youth Eyes on the Silk Roads” international photo contest.

This year’s festival, held under the theme "Join Hands Along the Silk Road to Build a World of Peace", will feature keynote speeches and discussions on pressing global issues, including conflict resolution, global governance, cross-civilization collaboration, Silk Roads cultural exchanges, youth development, and international humanitarian aid.

The event will also highlight ongoing projects within the UNESCO Silk Roads Programme, underscoring the importance of fostering shared values and cross-cultural cooperation. A key moment will be the announcement of the winners of the 2025 “Youth Eyes on the Silk Roads” photo contest. The event will showcase the best photos from this year’s contest, accompanied the speeches from contest representatives.
