تقرير الأمم المتحدة العالمي عن تنمية الموارد المائية

تأتي نسخة 2019 من تقرير تنمية الموارد المائية تحت عنوان "لن يترك أحد دون مياه"، في مسعى إلى تعريف صانعي القرار والسياسات، من داخل وخارج مجتمع المياه، بضرورة تحسين إدارة موارد المياه والحصول على خدمات إمدادات المياه والصرف الصحي كونها أموراً أساسية للتغلب على الفقر ومعالجة أوجه عدم المساواة الاجتماعية والاقتصادية. وقد صدر التقرير إبّان اجتماع مجلس حقوق الإنسان في جنيف بتاريخ 19 آذار/

تعبُر القرارات المتعلقة بالمياه الحدود لتؤثر على الجميع، لا سيما في ظلّ بسط العولمة جناحيها على العالم بصورة متزايدة. وتعد الظواهر الشديدة، كالتدهور البيئي، والنمو السكاني، والتوسع الحضري السريع، وأنماط الاستهلاك غير المستدامة وغير المنصفة، والصراعات والنزاعات الاجتماعية، وتدفقات المهاجرين غير المسبوقة، من بين الضغوطات التي تواجه البشرية، والتي يقع ضحيتها أولئك الذين يعيشون في أوضاع هشة دون غيرهم، بسبب تأثير تلك الظواهر بشكل مباشر على المياه. 

وتتطلب معالجة أوجه عدم المساواة التي تواجهها الفئات المحرومة إيجاد حلول ملائمة تأخذ في الاعتبار الواقع اليوميّ للسكان والمجتمعات التي تعيش في ظروف صعبة، ووضع السياسات وتنفيذها على النحو المناسب، والاستخدام الفعّال والمناسب للموارد المالية، بالإضافة إلى المعرفة القائمة على الأدلة بشأن الموارد المائية والقضايا المتعلقة بالمياه، يعدّ كل ذلك ضرورياً للحدّ من أوجه عدم المساواة في الحصول على مياه الشرب النظيفة الآمنة وخدمات الصرف الصحي. 

ويعزز تقرير تنمية الموارد المائية للعام 2019 الالتزامات التي تعهدت بها الدول الأعضاء في الأمم المتحدة بتبني أجندة التنمية المستدامة لعام 2030، والإقرار بحق الإنسان في الحصول على مياه الشرب النظيفة وخدمة الصرف الصحي، واللذان يعدّان أمران أساسيان للقضاء على الفقر، وبناء مجتمعات مزدهرة يعمّها السلام، الأمر الذي يسهم في نهاية المطاف في "عدم ترك أحد دون مياه" في خضم المسيرة نحو تحقيق التنمية المستدامة.

Regional launch events

In order to better disseminate the key findings of the WWDR 2019, WWAP organized  information meetings for Member States representatives at UN Heaquarters (15 February) and at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris (22 March). • Arab Water Council Fifth General Assembly

  The WWDR 2019 has been presented at the opening session of the fifth General Assembly of the Arab Water Council in Cairo, on 16-17 March. The event has been attended by more than 400 participants. The Report has been mentioned also during the technical sessions on climate change, on non-conventional water resources and on the Arab water assessment report sessions.
   
• World Water Day 2019 acticities, Mongolia

  Mongolian National Commission for UNESCO, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia
  On the occasion to the World water day 2019, the Ministry of Environment and Tourism (MET) of Mongolia in cooperation with Mongolian University of Science and Technology (MUST) organized a scientific conference for students under the theme “Leaving no one behind”. Ms S.Uyanga, the Secretary-General of the Mongolian National Commission for UNESCO, attended the conference and handed over the World Water Development Report (WWDR) 2019 to the representatives of the participating organizations such as MET, Ministry of Road and Transportation (MRT) of Mongolia and Water and Sewerage Authority of Ulaanbaatar city. The message of Ms. Audrey Azoulay, Director-General of UNESCO, on the occasion to World Water Day 2019 was translated and disseminated during the conference and through websites.
  In addition to the above mentioned event, the Geography Department of Mongolian State University in cooperation with the Mongolian National Commission for UNESCO organized a series of activities for students, including drawing competition on water related topics and the cleaning of a kilometer shore area of the Selbe river, in the north of the Ulaanbaatar city. Additionally, the facts and figures of the WWDR were introduced to the students of the University.
