Before we are six

Like a chick emerging from an egg, this tiny Japanese girl climbs through a hole in a calligraffiti-covered wall at the Osaka World Exposition. Recent educational research seems to suggest that the pre-school years from 0 to 6 are the crucial period for the development of basic personality and intelligence and that for all of us the writing is on the wall before we are six.
